Christian Care Centre
The Christian Care Centre was established with help from the government of New Zealand. Sisters from the Community of the Sisters of the Church work alongside Sisters of the Church of Melanesia in providing care for victims of domestic violence and other forms of abuse.
It takes 15 minutes to drive to the CCC. They always have women with their children who are victims, because of broken marriages or single women with personal problems. There isn't any other home or centre like this in the Solomons, except the CCC.
